You have entered the official website of Anthony Spano, New Jersey based comedian and actor. Anthony, among other things, is a lover of sports and  music (with a passion for both that can lead to frustration & some mild forms of anger) a reviewer of current world events and a self admitted  "road rager".          
   Born in Jersey City , NJ, "where only the strong survive", Anthony has always had a knack for making people laugh, "Since I was a kid I would always tell jokes, create characters and funny voices for my friends and  make them laugh". 
Anthony in the last 2 years has established himself as a powerful comedian through original stand-up performances. To attempt to define him could prove disastrous, so
shut it!.
Anthony has played numerous venues in and around the tri-state area.   He has worked with Rev. Bob Levy, Artie Lange, Jim Florentine, K.C. Armstrong, Yucko the clown, Schulie and Dan  the song parody man of the
Howard Stern Radio Show. Other comics Anthony has had the privilege of working with include Bobby Collins, Nick DiPaolo, Joe Matarese, Mike Marino, Carl LaBove, Bob Nelson, Jackie "The Jokeman" Martling, Joey Kola, Joseph Anthony, Vic DiBitetto, Joe Moffa, Angel Salazar, Otto & George and Rich Vos. He is currently a regular at Uncle Vinnie's Comedy Club in Point Pleasant Beach New Jersey. He has played the Comic Strip Live, Glady's, Club Ha, The Laugh Factory and Pips Comedy Club in New York,  Rascals on the Hudson in Jersey City, the Stress Factory in New Brunswick, Banana's Comedy Club in Hasbrouck Heights NJ and Poughkeepsie NY.
     Anthony is also a graduate of the John Casablanca school of acting.  Recently Anthony has appeared in several independent movie's, Big Fish award winning "A Cold Day in Hell", directed by Chris Picone and seven other independent movies for
Outworld Entertainment ."Code Name:Sell" which won an award in the short film category in the Accolade Competition and also "Can't Keep A Dead Man Down" which was directed by Jody Murphy and the "Frappuchino's" , "Frappuchino's Christmas",  "ARIA", "After The Fall" and "Nevemore" directed by Cesar Cruz.
    As far as on air radio credits, Anthony was a finalist on 1050 AM radio's ESPN Dream  Job contest and he was recently a guest on SIRIUS satelite's
The Wise Guy radio show hosted by Vincent Pastore (Big Pussy) of the HBO television show The Sopranos and the Scott Ferrall Show hosted by sportscaster Scott Ferrall..
